Sterile Stitch Cutters with the traditional carbon steel sterile standard stitch cutter form, with its rounded bull nose tip. This ensures there is no damage to the skin whilst the surgical edge cuts through the suture with minimal resistance. Sterile Stitch Cutters are used for general suture removal and look similar to a scalpel. But, this instrument is handheld and doesn’t require a handle.
Directions: Slide the slightly curved bull-nose tip under the suture and gently rotate to gently cut it. Then remove the suture from the site.
